Whenever I try to Create a new mail or even Forward an existing email then
the system creates an empty box for the email but then Windows Mail closes
down (and restarts).
I can synchronise to Send and Receive email (although I cannot create any to
send) so it can't be the email server settings.
Anybody seen thsi before or have an idea?
Thanks

What if any antivirus or other security programs do you have? Some of them
cause assorted problems in Windows Mail, although seldom immediately.

I have AVG but verything has been running OK until last Friday.
All I can think of is that I did open an old version of Lotus Notes (to
access some info) but I'm not sure why that would affaect anything

I tried using Windows Mail after uninstalling AVG but still had the same
problem. Any further ideas?

Unfortunately I tried this but Windows Mail still closes when I try to create
a mail

I don't understand. How can Windows Mail give you a problem if you
are using a *different* email program (Windows Live Mail)?
