Windows Mail closes if sending and receiving when Firefox is open

Windows Mail closes if sending and receiving when Firefox is open. It
minimises which is very annoying as every time you send a mail you have to
click on the task bar to reopen windows mail (this only happens when mozilla
is open).

It closes or minimizes to the taskbar. Items on the taskbar are not closed.

i much prefer mozilla but thanks for the advice, any other ideas would
