Windows Mail attachments

Most of the time when I attempt to open attachments (Media files such as jpg,
mpg, wmv, etc.) the file does not open but I receive a message that OE cannot
fnd the file. Usually, if I close OE and reopen, it will operate properly.
Sometimes it is necessary to close and reopen more than one time. This never
occurred prior to installing IE8. I am using Vista (64) home premium.

having same problem Vista Ultimate 64 since IE 8 install with wmv and pps
files
they only open if saved to disk will try uninstall of IE8 next
