Windows Mail attachments

Is there a quick, one step way to open multi-forwarded e-mails using
Vista's new Windows Mail?
It's a small issue but I double-click and wait for the spinning wheel,
and then do it again, and again, etc. !!!
How do most people open attachments anyway??? Clicking on the paper
clip or double clicking the message???????????

not that I have seen or heard of.
I usually mail back instructions on how to copy paste and make a new message.
after a couple of times, they get the idea.
