Windows mail attachment question

Hi,

I received a .jpg attachment in a Windows e-mail. When I tried to open it, I
got an error box saying it had no association. But when I saved the jpg to my
desktop, I double clicked it and it opened as usual in Paint. Why does
Windows Mail think it has no association?

Hi Chet,

Windows Mail looks specifically for the "open" action for the file type, whereas the shell launches whatever the default action is. To fix the problem, download and apply the .JPG association fix from here:
