Windows Mail and Hotmail interoptability

With Windows Mail in just about every version of the OS, I find it extremely
fustrating that you cannot access Hotmail or Windows Live Hotmail with
Windows Mail. Now we have the Office Outlook tie in to Hotmail, but what
about the millions of users that don't have Office. Its a pricey suite for
many folks.

I would suggest to Microsoft that they allow Windows Mail to access Hotmail
in the future Windows OS and update XP, Server 03/08, 2000, and Vista to do
so. That way we can easily use a Microsoft related service within Windows. I
would also push your other email providers like Yahoo and AOL to also allow
access via Windows Mail and Outlook. This would save a lot of time and grief
if an already integrated program had greater access to various email
services.

This should include access by Windows Mail to free accounts, since most
people don't pay anymore for email services. Plus all these services should
have backup means of checking email through alternative networking services.
Thank you for your time.

I think a stronger message to MS is needed. I am going to shift to Mac if
they don't sort it out in the next 30 days. Vista has no advantages over XP
and the lack of outlook express means it is as user friendly as 7 foot high
commode.
