Windows Logo Testing Error

I can not install DirectX 9.0b becuase I get an error saying, "Th
software you are installing has not passed Windows Logo testing t
verify its compatibility with Windows XP (Tell me why this testing i
important.) This software will not be installed. Contact your syste
administrator."

The only thing I have tried to do to fix this is:
Sytem Properties > Hardware > Driver Signing > Ignore
But for some reason that did absolutely nothing.

This error promt disallows me to install most of my games too. Pleas
help, thank you

Hey, I am seriously irritated with this also. I got this problem when
trying to install World Of Warcraft (WOW). I also tried setting it to
ignore and it still doesnt allow it to install anyway. I tried numerous
searches on google and places to find help, but they all say "just click
continue anyway." Unfortunatly i don't have this option.
