Windows log off

When I log off I get message that says some program is
running and needs to terminate. The message is End
Program - HPCMPMGR.EXE.

otherwise do a google search of HPCMPMGR.EXE.

For questions about the HP Component Manager you need to contact HP
technical support. They will need to know the model number of the HP
component you currently use (or were previously using.)

I had the same problem. It has something to do with auto updating. Go to
HP's website, there is a tool to remove this.
