Windows Key + E

Is there a way to not have the "Folders" side bar come up when I press
windows key + e? I'd just like the main view, as if I clicked on My
Computer.

Create a desktop shortcut. Make the "Target read;
%systemroot%\explorer.exe /e,::{20D04FE0-3AEA-1069-A2D8-08002B30309D}
