It just happened this morning for no apparent reason: the
boot gets as far as "windows is starting up ..." then
hangs. It even hangs in SAFE MODE.
Note that this is pretty late in the boot process. It even
goes into the default screen saver if I leave it long
enough. It is not on the network however (for regular
boots). "Last known good configuration" doesn't work
either.
If this sounds familiar, I'd love to hear about it.
