Windows Internet Connection Sharing

Has anyone tried this type of wireless Internet connection? Is it good?
What about IT security, I have Norton Firewall in my main computer,
would the wireless Internet sharing still work? What is the range
(this is very important to me) or what is the farthest distance a
client computer from the Proxy Server to get connection? Thanks in
advance for your information.
 
Internet Connection Sharing is not a type of wireless Internet connection.
It is a services that provides NAT, DHCP and a DNS proxy so clients on a
private network can access the Internet.
