I am trying to load Norton Anti Virus 2004 and it keeps
looking for Nav.msi. What is this file? It says something
about Windows Installer. Can I reinstall windows
installer? If so where do I find it? Is it on my Windows
XP install disc? This is very frustrating for me because
I have no idea what I did wrong. Please help. Thanks

As far as I know, the NAV.msi file should be on the installation CD. If the
install program cannot find the file, it may be a faulty (dirty or damaged)
CD. Generally, different software come with installer files like those that
are specially designed for the installation of the particular program.

Note, this is my inexpert opinion based on my own understanding of the
process.
