had roxio creator that came with TDK DVD RW, tried to un-
install this program after reading reviews, now windows
installer comes up all time, can't load anything, windows
installer comes up just about when i open anything up.
Tried re-installing windows 2000, but then i get a error
that says"windows driver point not found
The\system Root\sys32\drivers\dxapi.sys device driver
could not locate the entry point KeIs attached Process
in driver NtosKRnl.exe

Get a copy of msconfig.exe from http://www.svrops.com/svrops/dwnldoth.htm,
then boot in Safe Mode, run it and disable all non-essential
startup tasks until you find the culprit that's causing the
problem.

Reinstall MSWindows Installer. Actually, be certain you install version 2
which is the current version. You can get it from www.microsoft.com, but
you have to search for it.
