windows installer problem

Hi. I recently installed microsoft office 2007 in my laptop with vista os.
whenever i open one of its programs, the installation setup keeps popping up
("please wait while windows configures microsoft office 2007...etc"). the
same thing happens whenever i run itunes. I tried reinstalling both microsoft
office and itunes but it didn't get rid of the installation setup. both
programs work fine though (except for the installation setup window popping
up). any help?

You could try this.

Download and install the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility, found here:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301

Run Windows Install Clean Up as Administrator, by right-clicking on its
shortcut (a shortcut should be in the Start Menu). Highlight all references
to Microsoft Office and ITunes, and click on Remove. Don't remove other
entries for other programs (like Acrobat Reader, for example), or they will
stop working.

Reinstall ITunes and Office 2007.
