windows installer popups

Running Windows XP Pro and this just started happening. I open certain
programs and a windows installer window opens. It doesn't say which if any
program it is wanting to install. I click the cancel button and it goes
away, but will continue to pop up until I close the program. The two
programs that seem to open this are quickbooks and wordperfect. Have not
done anything to these programs ie, updates, for quite some time. Any ideas
on how I can make this go away. Thanks

Yes it does say what it is trying to install, read it carefully, look in the
top left corner then use this to fix it.
