Windows installer issues

I'm running XP Home on an HP XT963. I restored XP from
scratch and loaded all XP critical updates and SP1. I'm
now having problems loading Norton AV 2002 on my machine.
The installation fails with a windows installer error
1303 - installer has insufficient privledges to access
this directory. The directory is c:\documents and
settings\all users\application data\symantec\norton
antivirus\tasks. I've loaded Norton AV 2002 on an
identical machine without the windows updates with no
problems. Any ideas?????

Hi Bill,

Restart in Safe mode (hit F8 at boot to access this), logon as
administrator. You should then be able to access the folder security
options. You need to change the settings on the folder you listed and add
your username.
