Running XP SP2:
I installed Streets and Trips 2005 a month or so ago without incident (full
install).
The program ran and performed well, that is until today.
Now, for whatever reason, everytime I try to launch it, it comes up with a
dialog that says:
"The feature you are trying to use is on a CD-ROM or other removable disk
that is not available.
Insert the 'Microsoft Streets and Trips 2005' disk and click OK."
Once I do this, I see another dialog that looks as though it's installing
the program, it says:
"Please wait while Windows configures Microsoft Streets and Trips." A few
progress bars come and go, and the program will eventually load.
Once I go through all this, the program seems to run fine, but what's up
with this?
Didn't the original installation take?
I uninstalled and reinstalled the program twice to no avail.
Also, I downloaded and ran the MS Windows Installer Cleanup Utility.
No good....
Ideas?
