Windows Installer Error 1719

I bought a hp scanjet 3670 and have been getting the same
error 1719 when I try to load the software. I have tried
the 315346 Knowlege base resolution article but it still
does not work. It states that it cannot find
msiexec/regserver. Any help out there!?!

Type in the Open box: msiexec /regserver click OK.
Type commands exactly, including the space between c and /.

Is that the way you typed it Pam or did you just type msiexec/regserver
without the space between c and / ??
