windows games

My husbands loves to play the game "hearts" which cimes
with windows. We recently purchased a new computer with
windows xp. It seems odd that the maximize button is not
lit, and the window for the game which is only 5"x5" can't
be made larger. You could use the full screen with my
older version of windows. I noticed the game pinball is
the same way. Is this something that I can change?
thanks,
Connie

Hi Connie,

XP uses a larger resolution which although it allows you
to fit more windows on your desktop, it makes those
windows smaller as a result. Switch to 800x600:
Right-Click your Desktop / Click Properties / Click the
Settings Tab / and Slide the resolution bar to 800x600
/ Then click Apply / OK. Hope this is the solution
that you were looking for! :)
