Could someone please tell me why my Windows XP Pro would
freeze when ever I try to run two or more programs at the
same time. Never happen before until recently when I
upgrade my memory to 768 MB from 637 MB. I have 3 DIMM
slots two of them had a 256MB and the other one have a
128, I swap the 128 with the new one, 256MB, but discover
that windows not very stable. I receive no errors about
the memory or any signs of other errors and I know for
sure I bought the right memory. I even tried removing the
new memory and using the two old 256s but problem still
persist. Please help.

So, even when you go back to your original memory configuration it still freezes? If so, there may be some other problem with the motherboard, processor, or hard drive, or even possible overheating of your computer. If things work ok, then the new memory is incompatible and should be returned
