Hi all,
I've got a freeze-issue on one of our pc's.
When I log in as an administrator, everything works fine. No problems at
all.
But when I log in as a particular user, the pc experiences lockups.
The pc (windows 2000, SP4) locks up unpredictably, AND whenever this user
accesses windows task manager.
If this user clicks on one of the drop-down menus in task manager, the pc
completely locks up immediately.
Ctrl-alt-del doesn't work, so the only option is to reset the pc.
All other users don't experience this problem on this pc, neither does the
admin-account.
If this user logs in on another pc, everything is fine (we use roaming
profiles, so this user uses the same profile on each pc).
In safe-mode, this user can access the task manager without freezes.
Any suggestions?
Eric
