Windows Firewall

Since activating Windows Firewall I have been unable to upload photos from my
digital camera to my PC hard drive. The sound is "Device Failed to Connect".
Is there a setting in Windows Firewall that I need to change, or set? I
looked at "Exceptions", but I really don't know what to do there. I did add
the Photo software program to the list that normally uploaded my photos from
my camera, but that didn't help. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Are you sure it's the firewall? Did you try turning it OFF to see if the
problem goes away, and then back ON to see if the problem comes back? It's
good to see if the problem can be reproduced before looking at other things.

Well sounds like to me its not the firewall cos,if you allowed the camera
software through the firewall. It will not block it,and couse a (Device
failed) sound.Second.. on the Device failed sound...its sounds like you may
need to check the device you are conecting to the computer (first),and make
sure you check for any system updates.Or so maybe just blow out the dust in
the usb connection in the pc`s usb slot and usb plug.cos This MAY couse
fulity connection. This is a starting point.
