hi there all, i run windows XP on my machine. up to a week ago i ran zone
alarm with windows firewall. unfortunately i had to do a clean install and
lost bits and pieces, but re installed limewire and cannot connect to the
server because of what seems to be a firewall blocking it. i am trying to
disable the firewall to see if it that or just a setting but it will not
actually turn off. it says it will but never turns red to confirm this, so i
can't be sure if it's still blocking lime wire or not.
is there another way to try and disable the firewall?
