Windows Firewall

I need URGENT help with this-I want to turn it ON but am stopped EVERY time
by "windows cannot start the windows firewall/internet sharing ICS service."
There is nothing in the Windows Help index as usual!!I have disabled Zone
alarm as this is absolutely ridiculous as it interferes with the running of
all traffic no matter what settings are used!
I therefore need to turn Windows firewall ON. I have tried doing it as an
Admiistrator but nothing works.

Help, please ASAP.
