i can't access mine... it just says that it was due to an udentified problem,
windows cannot display firewall settings.....

Why don't you use a third party firewall? There are free ones.
 
well i'm trying to get to mine because i need to get MSN gaming zone
unblocked...
 
Please follow the conversational flow rather than jump top to bottom to top
to .......
People will be able to follow a conversational flow rather than have to try
and decode what has been said meaning they will be more likely to read and
possibly help.

Are you signed on as a user account or administrator account?

How *does* one examine the properties/settings and actions of the XP firewall?

Newbie here... essentially, I see only "on" or "off". Is this all there is?

You can also, Start > Run > Type in "firewall.cpl" if th
control panel is restricted, in some cases
