windows fire wall not found after system recovery

i had to do a system recovery in my computer and i could not find windows
fire wall i tried to download zone alarm,but now it says that that the root
certificate was not found.tell me guys waht can i do to resolve the
problem.much appreciated before hand.

Your system is obviously Win XP SP2.

However,can you explain what happened that you did a system restore.
Give details.
