"Windows Explorers" Detail View

Hello-

I would like to create a list that has multiple columns where I can input
various information regarding a photo and then be able to have the websurfer
pick the order of the fields they would like to see the list.

Very similar to how Windows Explorer works when viewing in "Details" view.

I would like each entry to have about 5 categories and then also provide a
link to a specific page.

This may not be part of Frontpage but if someone can point me in the right
direction or the proper name of what I am looking for I will be very happy.

I would like to use this type of list with my 360 degree photo views where I
can have a title, location, date, comments, and a link. Then users can decide
what order they want to view the list in- according to date, location, or
title.

Sample 360:

Thanks in advanced for any help or advice-
Charles

You would have to use a database with server-side scripting (ASP, ASP.net, PHP, etc.) Your choice
will depend on what is support by your web host.

I figured as much. PHP is fine with me and I have several databases that I
have setup already with my blog and photo scripts. I don't have a problem
with setting up another. I guess my question is- What exactly is what I want
to do called? I have searched over several sites but since I don't know the
name of what I am trying to do I have trouble. I am sure people have written
PHP scripts. I will keep looking.

Any help would be greatly appreciated-

It can be done without a database. Just need to find the script that can do
it- prefer PHP. I have found scripts that come close but don't exactly match
up. Happy New Year. Charles
