I just started using Windows XP and this Windows Explorer is annoying. If I
click on a folder with a plus sign, it explodes it. Then if I click on
another folder with a plus sign, it explodes that and collapses the first
one. I'm sure Windows 98 did not do this. I hate this auto explode. Is
there a setting to fix it? I want to have to click on a plus sign to
explode a folder.
 
Nevermind, I found it. I had to uncheck 'Display simple folder view in
Explorer's Folders list'. I just hate that this stuff is on by default. It
should by default work like previous operating systems. Is there a list
somewhere of all these stupid little differences, like how they moved the
location of where you change the CD drive letter? That was a pain to find.
