windows explorer

After cleaning up some adware with Lavasoft
adware(purchased version with updated list), my windows
explorer takes several minutes to load. Control Panel,
internet explorer and file search takes several minutes to
load also. All other programs work fine.

It seem to me that windows is damaged in some way.

If so how can I fix that?

not sure if this is related but I have an error message
when I login in with any user, that states "Windows cannot
find 'nstask32.exe'. Make sure you typed......"

thanks for any help.

You have removed the W32.Randex.E Trojan Horse from the computer, but there
are some residues remained in your computer, follow these steps to remove
the references to this virus:

1. Click Start, and then click Run. (The Run dialog box appears.)
2. Type regedit
3. Then click OK. (The Registry Editor opens.)

4. Navigate to the key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run

5. In the right pane, delete the values:
"NDplDeamon"="nstask32.exe"
"winlogon"="winlogin.exe"

6. Navigate to the key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Runonce

7. In the right pane, delete the values:
"NDplDeamon"="nstask32.exe"
"NDpLDeamon"="winlogin.exe"

8. Navigate to the key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

9 . In the right pane, double-click: Shell
10. In the Value data box, delete everything to the right of explorer.exe.
11. Exit the Registry Editor and restart your computer.
