Whenever I open windows explorer it always opens to my
start up file. How can I change it to open to "my
computer" or "C drive"?
Thanks

For me, I use the command line as follow:

Start / Run, type C: [ok]

or if you want an "icon" on your desktop,

1. Right click on "My Documents" icon on your desktop,
2. on any blank area on your desktop, right-click, choose paste shortcut
here
3. right-click on your new shortcut, choose Properties
4. at the Target line, erase the string, then type "C:"
5. click Apply
