How can I configure windows explorer to open up at the location I want,
instead of the default location? Currently, it opens to "My Documents" and I
want it to open at
My Computer/Local Disk (C:).

Thanks for the advice, but neither suggestion worked. I went to both the
Microsoft and the eldergeek websites and tried every single configuration
listed, and none of them changed anything. Windows Explorer still opens in
the default location. In fact, I deleted the target entry altogether and it
still opens in the same place. The problem with this, is now that I have done
that, the properties box opens with the target and start in boxes greyed out,
and won't let me put the original target back in. I hope a system restore
will fix this.
