My Windows explorer seems to have become corrupted. After hitting <Windows
key> <e>, it takes about 20 seconds for anything to appear in the right side
pane. Shortly thereafter, it will stop responding and needs to be shut down
with Windows Task Manager. Does anyone know how to fix this? What is the
file name that runs this program? Thanks.

The file name that runs the Windows graphical user interface is
explorer.exe. However, just knowing that isn't going to get you closer
to fixing the problem. What do you mean "corrupted in the right side
pane"? What "right side pane"? Remember that we can't see your computer
and be more descriptive. In the meantime:

The First Question Of Troubleshooting: what changed between the time
things worked and the time they didn't?

The Second Question of Windows Troubleshooting: what is the
malware/virus status of the machine? If you think it is clean, what
programs (and versions) did you use to determine this?
