Windows Explorer

When clicking on a file name (list windows), an error
message appears (application error). After clicking on OK,
Windows Explorer quits.
I went through the Microsoft KB but did not find an answer
to my problem.
Can somebody help ?

Hey I have a similar problem.
Except when it quits as soon as I hit a file or folder.
This started to happen after I was hit with the sobig and
bbear virus.

But it works with no problems if you go to folder view in
my computer.

What gives -- can anyone else help.

fresh installation helps, also unistall any file spliiter
or video splitter software, or any software that attaches
itself to the the explorer, like webshots, explorer
enhancer..etc.
