Windows Explorer

My windows explorer does not work at all. When you right
click on the icon you get a program error. If you use
Start - Settings, Control Panel, you get a program error.
You basically can't use anything from Start or My
Computer. My warranty has expired so I can't get help
from Gateway. Can you please help Me.

First check that you don't have any viruses and then get spyware scanner and
remove all parasite programs. There quite many malware programs, which can
cause all kind of problems with windows explorer and internet explorer. Thre
reason can of course be something else, but check these first.
