Windows Explorer tweak request

Rick Blackthorn

Just migrated to XP Professional SP2 from win2k, and there are
two things I'd like to know how to get explorer to do:

1. display the total number of files in a folder at the bottom,
along with the number of selected files.

2. I have a "send to" shortcut to another folder, and in win2k
when I sent one or more files using "send to" it would *move*
the files there. In XP, it only copies them there.

How can I tweak windows explorer to do the above?

Same as under Win2K: Explorer > View > Status Bar (tick).

AFAIR no Win2K feature either by default. However, additional items
may be added to the Explorer's *context* menu.

Not recommended, anyway. See also
