What is the fault data for that specific crash according to View Problem
History in the Problem Reports and Solutions control panel?

I had the same problem for months. Just often enough to be a pain. I
have fixed it and I'd guess you could do the same. I installed Safari and
after about a week of getting to know it, I like it better and it is
noticeably faster. Having said that, it is possible that if I had been
able to find the cause of the stop responding issues, that may have resulted
in a faster response by Window's Explorer.

I am not awre of fault data, all I do is that I work normlly and when I try
to switch between windows, the pointer changes into a turning sand clock and
the screen comes to a hault, then the error message pops up when i try to re
click again.
The history in the Problem Reports and Solution shows that there is no
solution to problems caused by IE and direct me to the update, the update
says that my computer is up to date !!

That wasn't really the question - the question was what *is* that data?
That's some specific and exact data that may or may not be informative. =)

If you're happy with the answer you've gotten, then I guess we're done here.
If you want to share that data, it may be decipherable. =)

Please explain what do you mean by data, this may help me to identify what
you are looking for.
I have Outlook, IE, nad a trading station opened most of the time, whenever
i try to access any of them I get that error, whan I choose to restart the
Windows Exlorer, the task bar dissappears momenteraly, then resurface with
reshuffeled minimized program icons.

Realtek High Definition Audio (With EC)

Driver Date : 12/03/2007
Driver Version: 6.0.1.5384

I tried to update it and got the mesage " Windows has determined the
driversoftware for yor device is up to date"

I thought that the sound card vendor had released an update or that - if you
check with them or your system maker, do they have an update?

A

Ahmad Mahran

I actually did check an update via the Update Driver button located in the
driver tab
The message of " Windows has determined ....." - which was displayed after
going to check online-says clearly that this driver is the latest update.

Z

zachd [MSFT]

Yes, I'm aware of that and am now explicitly asking you to disregard that
and check with the vendor directly.

"up to date" according to Windows Update or to the Sigmatel web site? I'm
pretty certain there is a driver update past what is available upon Windows
Update.

Perhaps you would want to set a system restore point "just in case" for your
own sanity then? =)

i have the same problem as explorer stops working way too many times and
the problem report solutions center says

*waiting on application name: svchost.exe:audioclientrpc*

so you guys suggest i update the realtek high definition driver

realtek says if you update with theirs then you may miss the computer
manufacturers changes to their driver for the specific motherboard. so
you guys think that is fine?

anyone has tried this. i have a toshiba satellite.

i downloaded the vista driver from realtek but should i go for it and
update?

I'm having the same issue w/ *svchost.exe:AudioClientRpc

*Toshiba Satellite Vista Basic 32 bit. 2 years old, pre installed on
new laptop. Never had this as a problem until I upgraded my RAM from 1
to 2 gig last month. Computer recognizes 2 gig. So doesn't seem to be
any issues with that (but I could be wrong)

I ran CMD and there were no issues. Realtek High Definition Audio
driver is up to date and working properly. I'm stumped as to what the
problem could be.

I use Fiorefox and Thunderbird as well. I've run EasyCleaner, Spybot,
dfraged the drive and it hasn't corrected the problem. :(
