Since my installation of SP2 I've lost the status bar in Windows
Explorer. I can click view/status bar, and it shows, but if i change
directorys i lose it. It used to be there all of the time and I miss it,
so anybody have a clue as to how I make it work again? That. so far, is
the only problem I've had I can relate to SP2. BTW, it's that way on both
of my machines.

Hi

Re-enable the Status Bar, then go to Tools>Folder Options>View and click on
'Apply to All Folders'.

Tried that from day one, no go. Change directorys and it's gone.

It's strange it worked for you in SP1. Status bar was one of the things
that didn't stick very well and that has been changed in SP2, per an MS
knowledge base article. The tweak from Kelly should fix it up.

This may have been just a coincidence on your folder count since adding SP2.
Thanks for the information, though and glad you have it working again.
