Windows Explorer & Status Bar

SalsaMaster

I've got a problem with the status bar not staying "on" in Windows Explorer.
I can check it "on" from the view menu, but after closing and restarting
Explorer, the status bar is not displayed. This is with XP Professional.

Any ideas ?

Thanks,

David...

To make your Status Bar reappear (and stick)

Close all your applications
Open Explorer (Window Key-E)
Select View, Status Bar (you should now see the status bar)
Goto Tools, Folder Options
Goto the View tab
Hit, apply to all folders
Hit ok to accept
Close that instance of Explorer

That should fix it for you

(note this is the procedure to get the status bar back in IE as well)
