Windows Explorer Refreshing

[AA Tech]

I'm working in a folder in Windows Explorer with 2,200 files in alphabetical
order. Every 30 seconds or so, windows explorer "blinks" (it looks like its
refreshing) and it unselects the file i am working with and goes back to the
top, forcing me to go searching for the file i was working with. How do i
prevent this from happening?
