Mad Mike

Hello,

How do you change windows exlorers default setting when you open it, I
always goes to Documents and I would pefer either "Computer" or my "C"
drive.

Thanls for the help.

Mike

An easy way to do that would be to just click the Start button, then click
Computer on the right side of the Start menu. No need to change any defaults
that way, and no need to go through Start > All Programs > Accessories >
Windows Explorer. The same holds true for clicking the Start button, then
clicking Documents, Pictures, or whatever.
If you want it to start in C: specifically, then you heed to:

1. Click the Start button.

2. Click All Programs.

3. Click Accessories.

4. Right-click Windows Explorer and click Properties.

5. Change the Target to:

%SystemRoot%\explorer.exe C:\

(Make sure you put a space before the C:\).

6. Click OK.
