Windows Explorer Not Working... SOLUTION!

Ok so...

I installed Vista RC1 5600. And explorer would not work AT ALL.

But I took some time working on it, and the main problem was Firefox.
Not the fact that it was installed but it was set to default browser.

Open up IE and go to tools then set it to the default browser,
And all should be working right.

Thought I would put this up, because it was a problem I had, but resolved.

Hope this helps some people out there.

Now Vista is working like a charm.

Peace.

While they are intimately connected via code, you don't mean Windows
Explorer, you mean Internet Explorer. Unfortunately MSFT elected some time
ago to make the names part of their museum of the Parade of the Ridiculously
Non-Intuitively named components.

Nope,

When I installed Vista..
I turned mozilla firefox as the default browser, then Windows Explorer would
not work atall. I could not open anything that used explorer.

Example,
My Computer,
Or anything that involved opening a folder,
Searching,
Anything.

Web browers worked fine, but 'Windows Explorer' would crash.

I changed IE back to default browser, and then Windows Explorer decided to
work once again, and I could freely move through my folders again.
