Refuses to allow me to delete .cp files. It is a Adobe Captivate. Vista
Refuses to allow me to open Adobe Captivate files. "windows explorer is not
responding" happens when I try to open the Recycle bin. I can delete other
file types. But it still hangs. The idiots at Gateway had me go into safe
mode to system restore, but now my virus software won't work.

I'm not reformatting my hard drive for this to happen again. VISTA, is crap

Hello Frustrated-n-Houston,

I am sorry that you're experiencing frustration.

It appears that Adobe's Captivate 2 program might not be compatible with
Windows Vista. Here is a link to where you can find the system requirements
for the Captivate product:

You might be able to work with the Captivate application if you run it in
program compatibility mode. You can learn about the Program Compatibility
Wizard on the Windows Help and How-to website:
