Hi,
After downloading Windows Defender 2, and saving to disk. When opening
Windows Explorer and double clicking on the saved file it is possible
sometimes to close Windows Explorer and continue to install the required
package.
It is not possible with Windows Defender 2 to do this, as the program seems
to loop, the screen flickers, and the installation has to be aborted via Task
Manager.
When trying a second time to complete the installation there is no problem.
This has happened on two systems that I was using Windows Media Centre 2005,
and Windows XP Professional. Both had upto date security updates installed.
This is a just small problem, but one that might need looking at.
