Windows Explorer in XP

When I delete a file in Windows Explorer, it does not ask
me to confirm this action (to delete)... so I'd like to
put back this confirmation when I delete a file.

right click the recycle bin. check "display delete confirmation dialog"

R-click the recycle bin and choose properties and check the box "Display
delete confirmation dialog.
