Just had XP installed professionally after a hard drive failure and am
encountering the Windows failure problem constantly. Apparently a common
problem. Tried the DEP fix which seemed to help but not fix. Has there been
a definitive solution established yet for this problem?

BTW, is there a way to sort the group messages chronologically?

The failure problem is such that, after having a folder open for a period of
time(usually a few minutes) I get a message that says "windows explorer has
encountered a problem and needs to close" which it does. Very annoying.

Does Event Viewer offer any information to diagnose the cause of your
problem? (Start > Run > type: eventvwr.msc > OK)

I get this application failure notice in the Event Viewer...."Faulting
application explorer.exe, version 6.0.2900.2180, faulting module unknown,
version 0.0.0.0, fault address 0x032e3206." when Explorer unilaterally quits.

Additionally, flash doesn't work on my computer and I get this notice in the
Event Viewer..."Faulting application iexplore.exe, version 6.0.2900.2180,
faulting module flash9.ocx, version 9.0.16.0, fault address 0x00001897."

Just to see if they'e related, I think I will uninstall Flash.
