windows explorer hangs

HELP !!!! I posted a message a few days ago but don't see it, so
I'll try again. All of a sudden, I can't execute any windows
explorer commands (move, copy, delete, etc), either through the tool,
or by right clicking. I also have the desktop toolbar on my desktop.
No go through there either. The computer just hangs. I haven't tried
to do anything through safe mode, because that would a royal pain,
having to go into safe mode every time you want to do soe disk
maintenance. Does anyone have a solution for this problem? Thanks a
lot.

Right-click is slow or weird behavior caused by context menu handlers

Thanks Wes, unfortunately that didn't help at all. If anyone has any
other suggestions, I'd appreciate it. I've reinstalled windows, and
still nothing doing.
