Hi,
I am now experiencing windows explorer freezes, they are quite random
and logging off and back on again is the only solution i have found.
At random, My task bar will freeze and so will all my desktop icons.
If a program is open like IE or photoshop, it will still function as
normal. I can save and close. but then i must 'Ctrl -alt-del' into the
Windows Task Manager and Log Off from there. I log back on and all is
fine.
I know this is extremely vague and I have found not way to recreate
it, it is just random. What are some good steps to resolve this?
I have Norton Utilities and ran the Windows Repair several times but
still it freezes. I have Updated Windows will all the latest Critical
Updates. I have updated all my hardware drivers.
I think running SFC would be good but I don't know what to do since I
have a version prior to SP1. So how do i handle that?
Thanks so much for your help!
