Windows Explorer Freezing Up

Whenever I first open windows explorer it works apart from when I right click
then it freezes and I can do nothinh with it. I have to use task manager,
which indicates WE is not responding, to close it. Having done so when I
reopen WE it works fine. This happens everytime I first use WE.
There is nothing in the event viewer that indicates a problem.

Anyone know a solution, please

What anti-virus application or security suite is installed and is your
subscription current? What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)?
What third-party firewall (if any)?

Has a(another) Norton or McAfee application ever been installed on this
machine (e.g., a free-trial version that came preinstalled when you bought
it)?

I have BT as the SP and have their version of McAfee running which gives me
the firewall, virus protection etc

Pro- an annoying problem fixedblem solved

Used Shellexview, disabled all non microsoft and the problem has gone. I
will reinstate the items one by one and see what happens
