Windows Explorer fails

I referred to a given file (of photographs) using Windows
Explorer. When Win Exp tries to display the view of
those files, I get the following message:

Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
X Runtime Error!
Program: C:|WINDOWS\explorer.exe

This application has requested the Runtime to terminate
it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more
information.

If you're having no problems with other files, this one might be corrupt.

Thanks, Michael.
I tried this(viewing the original file) with My Computer
(which, I think, uses Win Exp) and there was no problem
with the original file.
Any other ideas?
