Windows Explorer Error Message......Any Cure ?

This is what I'm seeing....
Faulting application explorer.exe, version 6.0.2800.1221,
faulting module unknown, version 0.0.0.0, fault address
0x00f42de5.

Any ideas on what is actually wrong....when I'm using
explorer it runs fine...but when I go to close it, that's
when it says it must be shut down.
Also I've noticed that explorer is using a HIGH amount of
memory in task manager.
If anyone has any has any ideas or suggestions..PLEASE
EMAIL them to me !!!

Where did you get explorer.exe, version 6.0.2800.1221? Perhaps that's your
problem.
My version is 6.0.2800.1106

Heck if I know.........Ive just done all the recent updates (including
security updates).
What version shoudl it be????????
